William Herbert Moore, 59, of 210 S. Newton St., was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana; trafficking in opium; manufacturing marijuana; and maintaining a dwelling for marijuana and hydrocodone, Elizabethtown Police Chief Bobby Kinlaw said. He is still in the Bladen County Jail on a $52,500 secured bond, he said.
Moore was arrested at his home around 11:40 a.m..
“The arrest was a result of a 6-month joint undercover operation with the Elizabethtown Police Department and the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office,” he said. “It was a part of an ongoing effort to get drug dealers off the street.”
