ELIZABETHTOWN — A Peanut Production meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Powell-Melvin Agricultural Service Center located at 450 Smith Circle Drive in Elizabethtown. All peanut producers from Bladen and surrounding counties are invited to attend.
The program includes: Dr. David Jordan, NCSU Extension peanut specialist; Bob Sutter, executive director, N.C. Peanut Growers Association; and, Dr. Barbara Shew, plant pathologist, NCSU. If you would like to attend, contact Sherry Hall at the Bladen County Cooperative Extension office at 910-862-4591 by 5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22.
