Students were introduced to the letter ‘D’ by a trip downtown to Burney’s Sweets & More where they learned how donuts were made. After the children watched Mr. Burney’s demonstration of donut-making, a donut was provided for each child to enjoy. To remember the special day, individual photos were taken of each child to add to their memory books.
