School cafeterias receive Golden A Award

ELIZABETHTOWN — Bladen County School’s cafeteria managers received proof recently that they operate first-rate cafeterias. During their monthly meeting, the Bladen County Health Department’s Board of Health presented all 13 school cafeterias with the Golden A award.
Cafeteria managers and principals received the award during a reception held in their honor.
To receive this prestigious award, a school cafeteria must score a grade of 97 or above on each inspection made between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012. All school cafeterias have consistently maintained excellent sanitation ratings during this time period.
This is the third year in a row that the school cafeterias have received the Golden A award.
The 13 cafeteria managers are:

— Bladenboro Primary - Becky Pait
— Bladen Lakes Primary - Anita Wilson
— Clarkton School of Discovery - Jojo Marlowe
— Dublin Primary - Freda Hales
— East Arcadia School - Linda Miller
— East Bladen High School - Jen Shaw
— Elizabethtown Middle - Addie Newkirk
— Elizabethtown Primary - Cheryl McLaughlin
— Plain View Primary - Mae Williams
— Tar Heel Middle - Willa Dean Council
— West Bladen High School - Loretta Evans
