The funeral took place noon Monday, March 9, at Minter’s Chapel First Born Church of Boardman, with the Junior Bishop Leon Jackson. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
A viewing took place at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Sunday, March 8, from 2 to 7 p.m. and again Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. Another viewing was at the church Monday following the service.
Surviving are wife, Eloise Robinson; son, Michael Robinson of Chapel Hill; daughters, Melissa Robinson and Teresa Robinson of Chapel Hill; stepsons, Darryl Shaw and Ricky Shaw; sisters, Pearl Solomon, Hattie Albury, and Alberta Robinson of N.Y., Bobbie Gray Robinson, Mary Burris, and Annie Jones of Whiteville, Bernice Bellamy and Bonnie Robinson of Fayetteville; brothers, James Robinson Jr. and Charles Robinson of Whiteville.
