The funeral will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Atkinson Temple Holiness Church in Whiteville with the Rev. Charles Pridgen officiating. Burial will be in the McDougald Cemetery.
A viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Saturday, March 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. Another viewing will be at the church Sunday following the service.
Surviving are wife, Charlene Lee; daughters, Trinnie Lofton of Buffalo, N.Y., Donningyelle Washington of Garner, Ericka McCarthy of Douglasville, Ga., Mercedes Thomas of Arlington, Ga., Domonique Thomas and Nihamiyah Thomas-Lee of Whiteville; sons, Edward Lee of Austin, Texas, Beverly Lee of Rome, Ga., and Calvin Thomas of Rochester, N.Y.; sister, Virginia Lee of Whiteville; brothers, Roosevelt Lee of Buffalo, N.Y., Wendell Lee and Curtis Lee of Whiteville, and Lorenzo Lee of Upper Marlboro, Md.
