Broadus Jerome Justice, 33, of 245 Page Road in Clarkton, was charged with manufacturing opium; selling opium; delivering opium; trafficking opium; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver opium; and maintaining a dwelling to sell and deliver opium at Lewis Village, Apt. 26, in Elizabethtown, Chief Bobby Kinlaw of the Elizabethtown Police Department said. He was booked in the Bladen County Jail on a $110,000 secured bond.
Justice was arrested at Broad and Poplar streets in Elizabethtown on Feb. 9, Kinlaw said.
Kenneth Lee Yandle Jr., 24, of South Page Street in Clarkton, was charged with conspiracy to traffic opium and conspiracy to sell oxycodone, he said. He was booked on a $50,000 secured bond in the Bladen County Jail.
Yandle was arrested at Walmart in Elizabethtown on Feb. 17, Kinlaw said.
“We have been actively searching for these individuals since the time of the prior arrests from the drug campaign,” he said.
