The funeral service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at First New Light Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A viewing will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at F.W. Newton and Sons Mortuary in Elizabethtown.
He is survived by a son, Winfred Bryan McDonald Jr.; stepmother, Clarise McDonald; sisters, Carolyn McDonald, Hilda McDonald, Joyce Franklin, Charlene Tinsley, Tammy McDonald and Helen McDonald; brothers, Dennis McDonald, Reginald McDonald, Fredrick McDonald and Michael McDonald; and six grandchildren.
