Funeral services were held on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at Friendship Holiness Church with the Rev. Dennis Cartrette and Jimmy Tatum officiating. Burial followed in the Colly Chapel Church cemetery in Harrells.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Bivens; two sons, Tony Johnson and David Johnson, both of Harrells; one step-daughter, Debbie Bivens of Raleigh; two sisters, Patricia Peterson of Autryville and Janice Smith of Garland; two brothers, William Lacy Jernigan and Millard Jernigan, both of Garland; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
