Coach Andy Clark's Knights, now 3-1 overall, rolled up 339 yards rushing and held a 376-283 edge in total yards. Jovonte Purdie carried the ball nine times for 90 yards, and Justin Gillespie picked up 50 yards on 11 carries for the Knights.
The Vikings jumped to an early 14-0 lead with a pair of touchdown passes, capitalizing on a fumbled kick-off to set up the second score.
Collins darted four yards for the first West touchdown with 3:23 left in the first quarter. Moments later quarterback Westlee Rice fired a 39-yard touchdown pass to Gillespie. Purdie ran the two-point conversion to tie the game at 14-14.
Dominik Hemingway scored on an one-yard run for the go-ahead score with 10:04 remaining in the half. Collins tacked on the two-point conversion to put West in front 22-14 at the break.
Matthew Quiroga picked off a Viking pass and returned it 14 yards for a touchdown to extend the Knight lead to 28-14 with 7:59 left in the third period.
Collins raced 72 yards to paydirt on the next West possession with 5:04 on the third quarter clock to up the count to 34-14. The Vikings came back with a touchdown early in the final quarter, but Collins broke loose again on a 49-yard touchdown jaunt. Gillespie ran the conversion upping the margin to 42-22 with 5:04 on the clock.
Quiroga sparked the Knight defensive effort with 10 tackles and an interception. Quiroga also caused a fumble. Purdie and Jaquan Phillips were credited with nine tackles each, and Omar Sanchez and Matthew King recorded six tackles each. Sanchez also recovered a fumble.
