Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, at Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Roseboro by the Rev. Jesse Smith. Burial followed in the Roseboro Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Kristy Rich; two daughters, Diona Rich of Roseboro and Makila Rich of the home; one son, Linwood Dion Rich Jr., of Roseboro; one stepson, Anthony LaCass of the home; his mother, Gloristine Rich of Salemburg; his father, Linwood Mathis of Roseboro; four sisters, Melissa Rich of Salemburg, Gloris Rich and Showna Rich, both of Salisbury; maternal grandparents, James D. Rich and Essie Mae Rich of Salemburg; and paternal grandmother, Martha Mathis of Roseboro.
