West scored four more in the third inning when Emilee Riggsbee led off with a double to left field, moved to third after a single by Parnell, back to back triples by Jones and Smith, then a towering drive by Kenedra Smith that hit the middle of the fence for a double driving in another run.

Two more runs were added in the fourth inning when Riggsbee singled followed by back-to-back triples by Parnell and Schumacher added insurance runs.

The Lady Knights closed the scoring in the seventh when Jones smashed a hard single to left which the left fielder was unable to field cleanly and it went to the fence. Taylor Smith advanced Jones home with a fielder’s choice to the third baseman.
