St. Pauls took a 12-5 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Lady Knights battled back to tie the contest at 21-21 at halftime.
West outscored St. Pauls 20-11 in the third period to go ahead 41-32, but the Lady Bulldogs rebounded to outscore the Lady Knights 24-12 in the final quarter to take the three-point win.
Samantha Jackson and Kenedra Smith scored 13 points each for the Lady Knights, and Kendra Hall chipped in with 11. Jasmine Williams led St. Pauls with 12 points and ShaRiyah Alexander added 10.
The loss dropped the Lady Knightsâ record to 6-14 overall and 2-6 in conference play. West Bladen is scheduled to Fairmont tonight.
