The Clarkton School of Discovery Blue Devils defeated the Tar Heel Panthers 32-21 in a Bladen Six Middle School Conference basketball game played at Tar Heel Tuesday afternoon.

Tar Heel took a 7-6 lead at the end of the first quarter, and led 12-10 at halftime. By the end of the third quarter the Blue Devils had pulled ahead 20-15 after outscoring the Panthers 10-3 during the period.

The School of Discovery took ma 12-6 scoring edge in the fourth quarter to get the 11-point win.

AJ McKoy and P Johnson scored seven points each for Clarkton, and Daron Burney added six. The win upped the Blue Devils record 5-2.

Treyon Grimes scored seven points for Tar Heel, and Travis Cromartie chipped in with six.
