Wesley's Chapel

The Chancel Choir of Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church will present the Christmas cantata, Everything Glorious, on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. and during the morning worship service on Sunday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m.

The praise and worship Christmas musical was created by Sue C. Smith, David Moffitt and Travis Cottrell and arranged by Travis Cottrell. It blends familiar Christmas carols with new Christmas-themed selections in upbeat arrangements designed lift the spirits and set the stage for a joyous celebration of the birth of Christ.

Music Director Ron Warren will direct the production.

A Christmas Eve candlelight service and children's program will also be held at the church on Christmas Eve Sunday at 7 p.m.

Everyone is invited.

The church is located two miles south of Elizabethtown on Peanut Plant Road (just south of the NC 87 Bypass).

Live Nativity

The Bladen Charge United Methodist Churches will present a live nativity on Friday, Dec. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 16, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. each evening.

The program will be held on Dennis Harold Simmons Road off of Hwy 53 in the Live Oak community. Watch for signs.

Windsor UMC

The Windsor United Methodist Church Choir will present “Gather At The Manger” on Sunday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the program.

Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its senior choir anniversary on Dec. 17, at 4 p.m.

Full Gospel Chapel Church in Clinton will host a New Year’s Eve covered dish supper and sing with the Easter Brothers, the Easter Family and Randy Ward.

The Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir will present its Christmas cantata, “Happy Birthday, Jesus,” on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Galeed Baptist Church will present “Come, Let Us Adore Him” from Friday, Dec. 15 - Sunday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. each night.

The production is arranged by Lari Goss and directed by David Cable.

Baldwin Branch

The Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church family is presenting a Christmas production, “From Heaven’s Throne,” a David Clydesdale musical, on Dec. 22.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the production starting at 7 p.m. The church is located at 4047 N.C. 242 Hwy. south of Elizabethtown.
