A funeral was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. John AME Zion in Elizabethtown. Rev. Jimmy Melvin officiated. Burial followed at the church cemetery.
Viewing was held at the the Summerville-Boykin Mortuary in Garland from 1-6 p.m. Tuesday. The family also received friends Tuesday at 152 Pearl Lloyd Rd., White Oak.
She is survived by three sisters, Geraldine R. Battle of Charlotte, Mildred Richardson of Manhattan, N.Y., and Joyce McKiver of White Oak.
