The funeral service was conducted Monday at 11 a. m. at Riverside Baptist Church, Harrells, by the Rev. Chuck McKnight, Rev. Tim Evans and Rev. Kincy Barrow. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bordeaux was born July 14, 1928, in Sampson County and was a son of the late Beuulah Blackburn and Gaddie Bordeaux. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Bordeaux.
He is survived by a son, Shelton Bordeaux of Harrells; a daugher, Lori Barrow of Clarkton; three sisters, Lolita Long, Bessie Evans and Allie Bell Thomas, all of Harrells; a brother, Bobby Bordeaux of Garland; and a grandson.
