Wilton and Melody Vause of Council celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at their home on August 27. The event was hosted by Evan and Jessica Vause of Council and Ellen West of Lumberton, children of the couple. Mr. and Mrs. Vause are the children of Albert Vause of Council and the late Sarah Vause of Council and Jessie Evans of Elizabethtown. They have one grandchild, Matthew Aaron Vause. The couple was married on August 25, 1980, in Dillon, South Carolina.
