LUMBERTON - Cleo Singletary Mayfield, 63, of 214 Charmant Road, died Thursday, June 2, at Duke University Medical Center.
A memorial service was held Sunday at 4 p. m. at Floyd Memorial Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mayfield; her mother, Gracie Ella Singletary; and a son, John Mayfield.
She is survived by four daughters, Sheila Mayfield of Chula Vista, CA, Belinda Adams of Seattle, WA, Marilyn Layne of Yonkers, NY, and Deborah Fulwood of Queens, NY; his father, James Lawrence Singletary of Bladenboro; two brothers, Rex Singletary and James B. Singletary, both of Bladenboro; five sisters, Jane Franklin and Addie Hines, both of Lumberton, Anne Owens of Norfolk, VA, Gracie Singletary of Brooklyn, NY, and Dorothy Zeigler of Bladenboro; and six grandchildren.
Floyd Mortuary handled the arrangements.
