Bladen students earn ECU honors

Students from Bladen County were among those who earned academic honors for the fall semester at East Carolina University. The honors lists were just released by the university.

East Carolina recognizes three levels of academic recognition for students. The Chancellor's List is composed of the names of all fulltime undergraduates who earn a 4.0 grade point average on all work taken with no incomplete grades.

The Dean's List is composed of the names of all fulltime students who make at least a 3.5 grade point average on all wok taken with no grade below C and no incomplete grades.

The Honor Roll is composed of the names of fulltime undergraduates who make at least a 3.0 grade point average on all work taken with no grade below C and no incomplete grades.

Bladen students who earned Chancellor's List status for the fall semester were Kelly Morris, Amanda Phillips and Joshua Wilkes.

Bladen students named to the Dean's List included Amy Brisson, William Ferrell, and Leah Roberts.

Students from Bladen named to the Honor Roll included Ashley Batten, Holy Galipi, Kellie Guyton, Jessica Hammond, Yolanda Hardin, Charles Lennon, Shannon Lesane, Bradley Pait, Jenna Pervine, Natasha Rice, Holly Warren and Tiara Wilson.
