Reader wonders if story was vendetta

I used to write quite a bit. But time goes by and one just seems to keep putting it off, and so it's been some time since something has caught my attention and stayed on my mind enough to make me want to put my two cents worth in writing. Congratulations! You've done it. Made me want to write something.

I want to say that I think the article in Friday's paper concerning Steve Moffat was tacky and in poor taste (I realize that's redundant, but then so was the article).

When all those things happened it was news. Now it's just a rehash, and for what purpose? Is there some legal reason that he should not apply for any job that comes open? If so, then let's hear it. Otherwise, just because it's a small town newspaper, don't let the Bladen Journal have a small-minded attitude.

Is there some reason the Bladen Journal couldn't do more investigation to obtain the names of the other finalists to be interviewed? Or was this just a personal vendetta being disguised as news?
