The funeral service was held at 11 a. m. Wednesday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Garner. A graveside service was held at 3 p. m. at the Daniel Family Cemetery at Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown.
He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Wanda Daniel Hayes of Garner; a sister, Megan Harwood Hayes of Benson; a brother, Christopher Wayne Hayes of Raleigh; his maternal grandmother, Lois Suggs Daniel of Elizabethtown; and his paternal grandmother, Lovie Mae Hayes of Garner.
Memorials contributions are suggested to the Soccer or Tennis Teams at Garner Senior High School, 1201 Maxwell Drive, Raleigh, N. C. 27603.
Bryan-Lee Funeral Home of Garner handled the arrangements.
