CLARKTON - Artie McKeithan, 82, of 1593 Elkton Rd, Clarkton, died Sunday May 30, at Village Green Health & Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church in Elizabethtown, with Reverend Joyce McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Mrs. McKeithan is survived by four sons, Kenneth McCoy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bernard P. McKeithan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, James L. McKeithan of Alexandria, Virginia, and Kareem M. McKeithan of Raleigh; three daughters, Eloise M. McCoy of St. Pauls, Emily Thompson of Freeport, New York, and Marsha Hampton of Fayetteville; one sister, Gerthel Henry of St. Pauls; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
The public will be received from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Garland, and other times at the home of Mildred McCoy, 115 Spring Branch Dr., St. Pauls.
