BLADENBORO - Beaulah Mae Thompson McCormick, 70, 1219 Zion Hill Church Road, Bladenboro, died Monday, May 24, at her residence.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 29, at 2 p.m. in Center Missionary Baptist Church, Bladenboro, by Reverend Albert Singletary. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery, Bladenboro.

Mrs. McCormick is survived by five daughters, Arnetha Johnson, Sherri Bell and Carolyn Simpson, all of Fayetteville, Joyce Lennon of Bladenboro, and Joan Newkirk of Wallace; three sons, Ira Thompson of Bladenboro, Ross Thompson of Garland, and Ralph Singletary of Whiteville; four sisters, Laura Howard and Cynthia Thompson, both of Bladenboro, Fannie Brown of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Annie Singletary of Hyattsville, Maryland; one brother, James Thompson of Jersey City, New Jersey; 37 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 28, 6 - 8 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Service in Elizabethtown.
