19-13 Tri-Six jayvee girls softball victory at Grays Creek Thursday.

The Lady Knights raised their record to 2-0 in the Tri-Six and 3-6 overall.

Christina Brisson walked to start the game and circled the bases on two stolen bases and a wild pitch for a 1-0 West Bladen lead.

Samantha Walton and Brandi Packer drew one-out walks in the top of

the second and came home on a pair of wild pitches and Christina Brisson's sacrifice fly to widen the gap to 3-0.

Rice crushed a double to left-centerfield in the third that plated Kristen McMillan as the margin grew to 4-0. McMillan had smacked a single to center

Grays Creek scored twice in the third, but West exploded for eight runs in the fourth. Samantha Brisson lined a triple into the leftfield corner and scored on a wild pitch to ignite the rally.

Packer walked and Christina Brisson and Caroline Wells legged out infield hits. McMillan lined a run-scoring single to center, Rice reached

base on an infield hit and Jill Kinlaw walked.

Lindsay Clark raked a single to left to drive in Rice, and Danielle Baysden drilled a run-scoring single to centerfield. Baysden raced home on Samantha Brisson's infield grounder for a 12-2 Lady Knight lead.

Grays Creek trimmed the lead to 12-9 with six runs in the fourth and one in the fifth. Clark rapped a one-out single to left in the visitors sixth, and Samantha Brisson ripped a single to left.

With two out Kimmie Shaw hammered a two-run double to

left-centerfield. Christina Brisson's single brought in Shaw and an error extended the West lead to 16-9.

In the Lady Knight seventh, Rice poled a double to left-center, and Nicole Smith walked. Kayla Guyton punched a run-scoring single to right, and Samantha Brisson swatted a double to left centerfield to run the count to 19-10.

Winning pitcher Kinlaw pitched six and a third innings, allowing eleven runs, fourteen hits, four walks and striking out seven. McMillan recorded two outs on the mound in the fourth inning.

Samantha Brisson finished 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and two runs-batted-in. Christina Brisson was 3-for-4 with three RBI's. Rice turned in

a 3-for-5 game with a double, triple and a RBI.

Wells batted 2-for-4 with a RBI. Clark finished 2-for-5 with two RBI's. McMillan was 2-for-five with a RBI.

Shaw had the two-run double. Baysden and Guyton collected one hit and one RBI apiece.
