ELIZABETHTOWN - Roy Wilson McDuffie, 90, of 1207 Peanut Plant Road, died Monday, April 12, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Mr. McDuffie was a Navy veteran.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p. m. Saturday at Brown's Creek AME Zion Church by the Rev. M. C. Smith. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. McDuffie is survived by two daughters, Doris E. McDuffie of Raleigh and Lillie McKoy of Hope Mills; a son, George E. Johnson of New Market, Ala.; a brother, Lee R. McDuffie of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Emma L. Brown of Dunn and Lillie M. Peterson of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held today (Friday) from 1 till 5:30 p. m. at F. W. Newton and Sons Mortuary in Elizabethtown.
Newton is handling the arrangements.
