TAR HEEL-Margaret Watson Russ, 74, died Sunday, December 7, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Mrs. Russ was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Russ, and by her three sons, William Roscoe (Joe), Stanley, and Henry Jonathan (H. J.) Russ.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 10, at 2 p. m. at Bethel Baptist church, Dublin, with Reverends David Rutland and Patrick Sinclair officiating. Burial will follow in the Storms Cemetery (off of Highway 242).
She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Rising and husband Ronnie of Tar Heel; her grandsons, Steven Bedsole, Landon Bordeaux and Jonathan Russ; her great-grandsons, Colby and Quinton Bedsole; two sisters, Jeanette Vallier of Virginia Beach and Lona Mae Council of St. Pauls; and three brothers, Rufus Watson of Bladenboro, Ralph Watson of Virginia Beach, and Ervin Watson of Texas.
Visitation will be held tonight (Tuesday) from 7 till 9 p. m. at Kinlaw Funeral Home, Elizabethtown.
