ELIZABETHTOWN-Jannie B. Davis, of 6869 Johnsontown Road, died Tuesday, September 9, at Bladen County Hospital. She was 66.

Mrs. Davis was employed by Bladen County Schools at East Bladen High School.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Patterson.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at St. Rest Holiness Church with Bishop Morilene Thompson officiating. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Davis is survived by two daughters, Arelne Davis Robinson and Bertha Mathis, both of Elizabethtown; two sons, Willie Davis of Elizabethtown and Paul Davis of White Oak; five sisters, Lizzie Pearl Moore, Lena McClain, Bishop Morilene Thompson and Sheena Herring, all of Elizabethtown, and Savina Lassane of Durham; five brothers, Albert Johnson, Dallas Johnson and Morris Johnson, all of Elizabethtown, Allen F. Johnson of Durham, and Orlando Johnson of Escondido, California; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A public viewing will be held Saturday from 1 till 7 p. m. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
