ELIZABETHTOWN - Eva Tatum Tatum died Wednesday, September 3, at SunBridge Nursing Home. She was 101.

Mrs. Tatum attended East Carolina Teacher's College and was a teacher for several years. She was also a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Anders Tatum, a daughter, Nelva Miller, and an infant daughter, Eva Elizabeth Tatum.

The funeral service will be conducted today (Friday) at 2 p. m. at Kinlaw Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery on NC 53.

Mrs. Tatum is survived by two daughters, Doris Johnson of Raleigh and Helen Jones of Hope Mills; three sisters, Frankie Tatum of Elizabethtown, Ina Venters of Grimesland, and Mildred Post of Alma, Ga.; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held at 1 p. m. prior to the funeral today at Kinlaw Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Activity Department at SunBridge Nursing Home, Elizabethtown, or Community Homecare and Hospice, P. O. Box 3108, Elizabethtown, N. C. 28337.

Kinlaw is handling the arrangements.
