CLARKTON - Bill Hardee, of 464 Green Mill Road, died Friday, July 25, at Columbus County Hospital in Whiteville. He was 69.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Ransom Hester, and his parents, Joe and Flora Hardee.
A graveside service was held Monday at 11 a. m. at Robeson Meadows Cemetery, Highway 131, Bladenboro.
Mr. Evans is survived by four daughters, Billie Evans of Chadbourn, Wanda Gail Willoughby and Leanna McKeithan, both of Lumberton, and Lynn Edwards of Albemarle; a son, Bill Hardee Jr. of Fair Bluff; a brother, Frank Hardee of Macon, Ga.; three sisters, Mildred Hardee and Beatrice Hardee, both of Charleston, S. C., and Joyce Gosselin of Calabash; and eight grandchildren, Matt McKeithan, Jamie Hardee, Khrista Hardee, Ashley Willoughby, Kendall Willoughby, Jessica Hardee, Andrew Hardee and Dana Powers.
