Police know the dead woman in Tuesday's feed truck crash was petite, with dark hair, brown eyes, and medium dark skin. She has a tattoo on her forearm. She wasn't wearing any jewelry when she died.

They still don't know her name.

Elizabethtown Police Chief Bobby Kinlaw said the victim in the crash was carrying no identification. The driver of the feed truck, Timothy Wayne Wright of Bladenboro, has been unable to answer questions. He was still hospitalized in Wilmington Thursday.

"We're checking into anything we can that might give us some hint as to who she is," Kinlaw said.

The woman was between 25-35 years of age, and stood between 4'9" and 4'11" tall. She weighed approximately 110 pounds, and had medium, wavy brown hair.

She was wearing blue jeans over black exercise pants, and a green sweater over a blue sweater.

A tattoo on her left forearm has the letters R.R.

Kinlaw said the woman could be Hispanic, white or Indian.

Investigators have been following leads in Bladen and Columbus Counties, Kinlaw said, "but she could be from anywhere."

Officers are checking missing person reports from the area, but so far have no clues to the woman's identity.

Anyone with information about the woman's identity is asked to contact the Elizabethtown Police Department at (910) 862-3125.
