LONG ISLAND, N. Y.-Mary B. Monroe, formerly of Council, died Monday, March 17, at Long Island. She was 63.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church of Council with Rev. Charles Parker officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Community Cemetery of Council.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheila Monroe of St. Albans, N. Y.; a sister, Flora M. Brown of Long Island; and six brothers, James Brown of Las Vegas, Currie Brown of New Castle, De., Lacy Brown of Council, and Newkirk Brown, Horace Brown, and Richard Brown, all of Long Island.
Friends may visit the family at the home of Mary Brown, 11547 Rosindale Road, Council.
Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville is handling the arrangements.
