West Bladen led 6-3 early in the first quarter before the Lady Bulldogs ran off 13 consecutive points, going ahead 16-6 with a little more than a minute remaining in the first quarter.
Following a bucket by Tashoma Banner that trimmed the deficit to 16-8, St. Pauls hit a free throw and a 3-point basket to take a 22-8 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Lady Knights ran off the next 15 consecutive points and outscored the Lady Bulldogs 20-2 in the second quarter to take a 26-24 halftime lead.
Medenna Wiles scored 16 of her 21 points in the second half as the Lady Knights slowly pulled away in the final quarter.
Priscella Council added 21 points for the Lady Knights and Banner chipped in with 13.
Ashley Graham led St. Pauls a with a game-high 27 points and Terria Sinclair added 21.
A basket by Wiles to open the third period left West Bladen with a six-point lead but the Lady Bulldogs fought back to tie the score midway the period.
A 3-pointer and free throw by Sinclair gave St. Pauls a 37-36 lead inside the final minute of the third quarter. The third quarter ended with St. Pauls on top 39-38.
Wiles scored six points in a 10-3 run by the Lady Knights to open the final quarter as West Bladen went ahead 48-42.
St. Pauls scored the next four points trimming the deficit to two points, but that was as close as the Lady Bulldogs could get.
The win upped the Lady Knights record to 5-2 in conference play and 12-9 overall. St. Pauls fell to 4-4 in league play and 12-8 overall.
West Bladen is scheduled to host Fairmont tonight before closing out regular season play Friday night as the Lady Knights entertain Clinton.
