GUYTON
BLADENBORO - Miller Clifton Guyton, 83, died Friday, May 3, at Duke University Medical Center.
He was a veteran of World War II and the Battle of the Bulge.
The funeral service was conducted Sunday at 2 p. m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church by the Revs. Patrick Sinclair and Willie Allen. Burial was in Lewis cemetery.
Mr. Guyton is survived by his wife, Mildred Guyton; three sons, Gary Clifton Guyton of Monroe, and Joel Guyton and Timothy Guyton, both of Bladenboro; one daughter, Vicky Koon of Durham; a brother, Clyde Guyton of Bladenboro; three sisters, Ruby Ward of Elizabethtown and Doris Ammons and Betty Thompson, both of Bladenboro; and six grandchildren.
Lewis Funeral Home of Bladenboro handled the arrangements.
