The National Weather Service in Wilmington at 6:15 a.m. Saturday issued a tornado warning for the Bladen County area. No expiration time was given.
According to Dopplar Radar, conditions are right for the possibility of a tornado forming to the southeast of Baden County near Wilmington as Hurricane Matthew moves closer.
Matthew remains a Category 2 hurricane.
