* AT 734 AM EST…DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM

CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS STORM WAS LOCATED

OVER COUNCIL…OR 12 MILES NORTHEAST OF WHITEVILLE…AND MOVING

NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…

ROWAN…LAGOON…CARVERS…ROOKS…COUNCIL…KELLY…POINT CASWELL

AND ATKINSON.
