ELIZABETHTOWN — The East Bladen varsity football team will get one more day to get ready for a Four County Conference clash in Clinton against the Dark Horses.

With the fringe effects of Hurricane Joaquin still sending sheets of rain into the Carolinas, the game scheduled for Friday has been postponed until Saturday. Kickoff is expected to be at 6:30 p.m.

The Eagles, 5-0 and 1-0, will face the 3-1 and 1-0 Dark Horses after having a short week because last Friday’s game with Midway was moved to Monday due to rain. Clinton played its game on Thursday last week.

Saturday’s game will be broadcast live on Cool 105.3 FM by the Bladen Sports Network crew of Ricky Leinwand, Robert Hester, Dan Allen, Joe Melvin and Ron Daniel. The pre-game show will begin at 6 p.m.
