DUBLIN — Morgan Schumacher pounded 11 kills and Kathryn Schultz added eight to lead West Bladen to a straight-sets non-conference sweep of visiting West Columbus in volleyball on Thursday.
The Lady Knights were rarely threatened as they improved to 3-0, taking care of the Lady Vikings by the scores of 25-18, 25-15 and 25-13.
Jenna Dove and Raegan Davis each contributed five aces to the West Bladen cause, while Patience Parker zipped a trio of aces. Davis also had six assists and four kills.
Logan Autry had 12 assists, four kills and two aces, while Laikyn Pait and Kassidy Anderson each added three kills.

In St. Pauls on Thursday,Lexie Mendell ripped 10 service points with three aces and pounded home eight kills to lead East Bladen past the Lady Bulldogs by the scores of 18-25, 25-22, 27-25 and 25-21.
Ashley Hardin racked up 30 assists along with six kills and nine service points that included three aces.
Shardajah Brown contributed nine service winners along with five aces, while Anna Grace Long had seven service points and three kills. Hannah Devane got two aces and two kills. Bethany Lesane had four kills.
The Lady Eagles improved to 1-1.
