Youth soccer registration now open

ELIZABETHTOWN — Registration for the Bladen County Recreation Department’s youth soccer season runs now through Sept. 2.
The fee for Tot Soccer registration for boy and girls ages 3 and 4 is $25; the fee for soccer registration for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 is $30.
Players can register in the Recreation Department office at 803 W. King St. in Elizabethtown or Online at www.bladeninfo.org. Select Departments then choose Parks and Recreation – Online Registration from the drop down menu. Follow steps to complete registration.

Knights to holds tennis tryouts

DUBLIN — Tennis tryouts will be held at the West Bladen High tennis courts on Monday, Aug. 1, from 8 to 10 a.m.
Must have a medical physical on file in order to participate. Be sure to bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes and a sports drink or water.

East Booster Club set to meet

ELIZABETHTOWN — The East Bladen Booster Club will hold its first meeting Tuesday, July 26, at East Bladen High School in the Media Center at 5:30 p.m.
Officers will be elected and fundraisers for the upcoming year will be discussed.
All parents of athletes and the community are urged to get involved in this organization to help provide for our student-athletes. Please come out and be a part of Eagle Nation.

ELIZABETHTOWN — East Bladen High has set its prices for season football passes, parking and field banners.
— Gold Member: $500 for four season passes, parking and banner
— Silver Member: $300 for two season passes, parking and banner
— Bronze Member: $175 for one season pass and parking

ELIZABETHTOWN — East Bladen High will hold cross-country tryouts on Monday, Aug. 1, at the school’s track from 9 to 11 a.m.
Students must have a current physical on file and a parent should sign the concussion and medical release forms before the student participates in tryouts.
