DUBLIN — West Bladen’s bats stayed hot and the Lady Knights got a four-inning no-hitter from Sophia Singletary in the circle Friday to hand visiting East Bladen a 15-0 Four County Conference loss.

West Bladen jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first inning, sending 11 hitters to the plate and getting RBI doubles from Laikyn Pait and Singletary, along with a two-run triple from Alanna Ludlum and RBI triple from Conner Brisson.

The Lady Knights added three runs in the second inning and, after a scoreless third, tacked on six runs in the fourth to seal the run-rule win.

“The girl are seeing the ball real well right now and getting more confidence at the plate,” said West Bladen coach Joey Autry. “And Sophia was focused today and pitched a good game — she can do that, really shut down a team.”
