ELIZABETHTOWN — The Lady Eagles kept their early season success going Friday by handing visiting North Brunswick a 3-0 non-conference loss on the pitch.

Cassie Hill delivered a pair of goals for East Bladen, the first coming about 11 minutes in and the second came about midway through the second half.

In between, Hannah DeVane booted a penalty kick in to give the Lady Eagles a 2-0 halftime edge.

Kathryn Cole registered eight saves in the game and helped East Bladen to a 3-0 record.

— West Bladen earned its first win of the season by sweeping visiting Purnell Swett in a non-conference match, 9-0.

In singles action, Victor Jacome took a 7-5, 7-5 win at No. 1; Manuel Arvizu got a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 2; Tate Sykes rallied for a 4-6, 6-1 and 10-8 win at No. 3; Felix Rebollar took a 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 4; Christian Diego won at No. 5 with a come-from-behind 4-6, 6-1 and 10-3 win; and Jose Osorio got a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6

In doubles, Jacome and Sykes teamed up at No. 1 for an easy 8-1 win; Arvizu and Rebollar got an 8-3 win at No. 2; and Diego and Osorio got an 8-2 win at No. 3 to complete the sweep.
