Four tabbed all-conference in tennis

Bladen County had four girls selected to the All-Four County Conferenceteam in tennis — two coming from West Bladen and two from East Bladen.
Selected from West Bladen were No. 1 singles/doubles player Alanna Ludlum (conference Player of the Year) and No. 2 singles/No. 1 doubles player Amber Long.
Selected from East Bladen were No. 1 singles/doubles player Kathryn Cole and No. 2 singles player Justyna Gargala.

Youth basketball registration underway

ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County Parks & Recreation is now accepting youth basketball registrations through Dec. 11.
The program consists of three leagues: 6 to 8 years old, co-ed; 9 to 12 boys; and 9 to 12 girls. The fee is $30 per player.
