CLARKTON - Thomas Lee Evans, 56, of 190 Plum Road, died Tuesday, December 2, at Columbus County Hospital in Whiteville.
The funeral was conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at Mount Horeb AME Church in Evergreen by the Rev. Tony Mills. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Lenora Evans of Raleigh; a son, Alphonso Tart of Lumberton; a daughter, Brenda Dixon of High Point; two stepdaughters, Sheila Medley of Atlanta and Angela McInnis of LaGrange; and his mother, Pearl Evans of Chadbourn.
