An open letter from East Bladen Athletics Director Patty Evers: All merchants in Elizabethtown and surrounding areas should be made aware that a company named Victory Sports (IMG Integrated) is soliciting for donations to the East Bladen Athletic Department by putting your name on a rally towel or T-shirt and all proceeds will benefit athletics.
This is not true.
If anyone calls for a donation that is outside of Bladen County, please be aware that it is a potential scam and that your donation will not make it to the intended group. This group is also saying that they are part of our banner program at East Bladen and that is false as well.
The East Bladen Athletics banner program is run through the booster club only. If you are interested in the banner program, please contact me at 645-2500.
