Thanks given for flags at Armory

On behalf of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elizabethtown Post 8062, I would like to express my appreciation to County Commissioner Charles Ray Peterson, Woodmen of the World Field Representative Trey Duncan and the National Guard Armory troops for the three flag poles that have been installed at the North Carolina National Guard Armory in Elizabethtown.

I made the request to County Commissioner Peterson because I felt it was the appropriate thing to do to pay tribute to our servicemen and women. Having the American flag (I love the USA), the State of North Carolina flag (I love my home state) and the County of Bladen flag (I love Elizabethtown and Bladen County) displayed is another means to recognize those at the “Walk of Honor” who have served our country well.

Thank you, Mr. Peterson, Mr. Duncan and the NCNG for honoring my request.
