The Friends of the Bay Lakes, along with the staff from Jones Lake State Park and
Singletary Lake State Park, put on the first annual Fall Festival at Jones Lake on Saturday, October 31st, 2015. The weather was perfect and the event was a huge success with over 400 people pre-registering for the event and approximately 500 people attending. The Friends Group, along with the park staff, would like to
thank everyone that attended. This festival would not have been possible without all of the assistance that was received from a wide variety of agencies, organizations and businesses. We would like to thank the East Bladen High School Keyettes, East Bladen High School JROTC, West Bladen High School FFA, Boy Scout Troop 701, Keep Bladen Beautiful, Turnbull Creek Educational State Forest, NC Forest Service, NC Wildlife Resources Commission, Elizabethtown Fire Department, Bladen County Library, Pepsi, Walmart, all other volunteers not associated with any of these agencies or organizations and all media outlets that assisted in advertisement.
