— Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church will observe Family and Friends Day at 11 a.m. The guests will be Delora LeSane and the congregation of Greater McKoy’s Chapel Church of Dublin. Everyone is invited to come celebrate.

— David Bennett, the international director of a Baptist mission called Silent Word Ministries International, will be speaking at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church in Whiteville.
