— GOOD FRIDAY
— In observance of Holy Week, Saint James Church will host a Devotional Service at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
— The Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church “Clothes Closet” will be open from 7 to 10 a.m. Clothing will be available for the entire family. The food pantry, “From His Table to Yours,” will be open 10 a.m. to noon. Identification and personal transportation required. No fees are involved to receive assistance from either ministry. — Living Springs Church on U.S. 701 South in Elizabethtown will host a live dramatization of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ at 7 p.m. The free event will include many people from area churches. The public is invited.
— Tar Heel Baptist Church located at 521 Tar Heel Ferry Road in Tar Heel, will have an Easter Egg Hunt for children in sixth grade and below. It will begin at 10:30 a.m and end at noon. Lunch will be served.
— Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church presents its annual “Out-Reach-In-The-Park” from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is a joint venture between Baldwin Branch and Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church of Council. Christian outreach, gospel music, other entertainment and refreshments for the entire family will be available. The event is being held in the Martin Luther King Park located at 409 Martin Luther King Drive, Elizabethtown.

— Tar Heel Baptist Church located at 521 Tar Heel Ferry Road in Tar Heel, will have a special Easter Service beginning at 7 a.m with breakfast. The worship service will start at 8:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
— The annual Community Early Rise Service will be held at 7 a.m. at the Old Trinity Church on East Broad Street in Elizabethtown. All are invited.
— In Observance of Holy Week, Piney Grove Church will host a Devotional Service at 6 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
— The Drama Team of St. Luke A.M.E. Church located at 410 Martin Luther King Drive, Bladenboro, will present a play “Deacon Willie’s Last Will and Testament.” There will be a meal served during the play for a donation of $12.00. Everyone is invited to attend.
— The Clarkton PFWB Church will host its Spring Revival today through Wednesday, April 6. Sunday nights service will begin at 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday night’s services will begin at 7 p.m. The Rev. Howard Jacobs will be the guest speaker. — The Methodist Men of Trinity United Methodist Church will hold a fish fry benefit from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the church on West Broad Street in Elizabethtown. The plates will cost $7 each and consist of whiting fillet, slaw, baked beans, hush puppies and tea or water. Eat in or takeout plates will be available. — College Small Group will meet from 6 until 7 p.m. (ages 18 to 23) followed by AMPED Student Ministry worship service from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. each Sunday night at Dublin First Baptist Church. The upbeat worship service will be lead by our student ministry band, and include drama, and deep Biblical teaching.
