— The Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church clothes closet will be open from 8 to 11 a.m. The food pantry, “From His Table to Yours,” will be open the same day from 10 a.m. to noon. Personal identifications and transportation are required. No fee is involved in either ministry. Baldwin Branch is located at 4047 N.C. 242 Hwy. South in Elizabethtown. The Rev. — New Jerusalem Holy Bible Church of God, located at 208 E. Swanzey St. in Elizabethtown, will sponsor its annual “100 Men in Black” program at 4 p.m. Several spirit-filled groups along with guest speaker Vice-Bishop Michael Christian of the Holy Bible Church of God Inc. in Lumberton will participate. — Dress Down Day at (The Tree) Mt. Olive A.M.E. Zion Church in Elizabethtown will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Haywood Oliver. We invite all to come dressed in your favorite team jersey, T-shirt and jeans. This is for any favorite sport of your choice. — St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church, located at 410 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Bladenboro, will present “How’s Your Tea?” at 5:30 p.m. Various speakers will share how cups of tea can reflect our daily living. This program is to support the Youth Missionary Society of the St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church. The pastor is the Rev. Hardy Ballard Jr.

Feb. 14

— Kitchen Branch Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2158 Baltimore Road in Council, will celebrate its fifth annual Pastoral Anniversary at 11:15 a.m. and against 3:30 p.m. Honorees will be Pastor Anthony Gause and his wife. The guest speakers will be Pastor Lorraina Jackson of Jerusalem HBC at 11:15 a.m. and Pastor Anthony Anderson of Overflow Ministries at 3:30 p.m. For information call the Rev. — Mt. Olive AME Zion Church in Elizabethtown and the Rev. Haywood Oliver will have its annual Black History Program at 3:30 p.m. The speaker will be the Rev. Edwin Ferguson, pastor of Mt. Zion AME Zion Church in Elizabethtown, who will be accompanied by his choir and congregation. The program is sponsored by Christian Education Department.
