LUMBERTON — The Birmingham Children’s Theatre Company Presents Two Shows of “City Mouse, Country Mouse” for young audiences and their families on Friday, Oct. 11, at the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater in downtown Lumberton.
A mouse named Maudie Mae thinks country life is mighty fine while her cousin, Montague, wouldn’t live anywhere except the big city. Their musical adventures begin when they decide to pay each other a visit. The two travelers discover new sights, new tastes, and more new noises than they ever imagined on their way to proving there is no place like home.
There will be a 10 a.m. morning show for schools that also is open to the public, as well as 7 p.m. evening show. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.
